Pleasant Green Grass wanted to show the differences between standard lawn care and their organic lawn care which included communicating some fairly complex concepts. This animation distills the benefits of organic and the risks of standard chemical care, many of which average consumers may not be aware of. In order to capture and relate to viewers the script and story flow emphasize family to create a symmetry between the health of one’s lawn (or soil life) and one’s family. The grain, bright colors, and warmly illustrated visuals lend a human touch to the aesthetic.
